Follow these simple steps to start playing in minutes:

📖 How to Play

NetHack is a turn-based game where you explore a dungeon, fight monsters, collect items, and try to retrieve the Amulet of Yendor. Here are the basics:

• Pick up items: Press , (comma)

Linux

3. Make it executable: chmod +x nethack-tiles-client-*.AppImage

💡 Tips for New Players

• Don’t be discouraged by death: In NetHack, you will die — a lot. Each death teaches you something new.

🐛 Troubleshooting

Problem: App won’t start Solution: Make sure you have the latest version. Try reinstalling.

Problem: Can’t connect to server Solution: Check your internet connection. The default server is nethack.alt.org — try a different server if it’s down.

Problem: Graphics look wrong Solution: Go to Settings and try a different tileset. The app includes multiple tile sets to choose from.
